Experiment 001

The lamp’s miniature scale introduced a simple question: how do we make the joints work without machine welding? The answer came through precisely cut solid aluminum blocks, forming both the footings and connections of the frame.

Multiple studies were conducted using both steel and aluminum to determine the exact dimensions and tolerances required for each connection. At this scale, even a millimeter could affect the fit, so every iteration became part of the experiment.

In the Works

Designed to be assembled, the scaffold lamp invites connection through the act of making. Each piece connected forms small moments, with the process of making becoming as meaningful as the finished structure.

It carries traces of these shared moments, from every screwed-on joint to the lamp’s warm ambient glow. Made to illuminate your space and life as it happens.
